This project involved the creation of a state-of-the-art marina and basin along the Dania Beach Cut-Off Canal, designed to accommodate luxury vessels from 75 to 250 feet. Over 100,000 cubic yards of material were removed to excavate the basin to a depth of -16 feet. The basin’s structure was supported by over 1,200 linear feet of steel sheet piling and concrete batter piles, with a perimeter cap and pedestrian-friendly sidewalks maximizing dock space. Two rows of 12-foot-wide concrete floating docks were installed, featuring fire suppression systems, water, sewer pump-out systems, and high-capacity electrical infrastructure providing up to 600 amps per power pedestal. Upland work included the installation of a city water main loop, integrated sewer, fire, and storm drainage systems, and the construction of a parking lot, making the marina a premier destination for boaters.
