The Florida Oceans and Coastal Council has released the Florida’s Ocean and Coastal Economies Report, Phase II, outlining the contribution of Florida’s coastal and ocean economy. According to the report, Florida’s coastal economy contributed over $562 billion in revenue in 2006, and Florida’s ocean economy contributed $25 billion in revenue that same year.
